When restoring your classic squarebody there is a good chance that the hood has some substantial rust or damage. Trying to repair or straighten out something as large as a hood is no small feat. Holley Classic Trucks has an easy solution with our premium replacement hoods for the squarebody series trucks. These premium hoods have superior fit and great looks due to being manufactured with precise tooling and then EDP coated to provide excellent corrosion protection. They are not thin and flimsy like many other hoods on the market as they are made just like OE with heavy gauge steel for high strength. Don't forget that opening and closing your hood is also just as important. Our new hood latches and hood bumpers will give you the confidence of having a safe and secure hood, while our release cables will help open the hood smoothly and easily. Plastic pieces tend to deteriorate quite a lot over the years becoming very brittle and discolored. A very common part that cracks and breaks is the wiper cowl screen. These screens are designed to keep debris out of the cowl area allowing water to pass through unobstructed. Without a proper cowl screen, water drainage can become slowed or blocked resulting in substantial rust and corrosion over time.
