AscentStep running boards are set apart from other, common oval side steps with their stylish, distinctive teardrop shape. The boards are rounded on the ends with seamlessly blended end caps, giving them subtle, superior style to complement your truck. The step pads of these running boards are also unique, featuring a two-part construction. They are comprised of a polyethylene tread base and a metal plate overlay. The poly treads protrude through the overlay, providing an aggressive accent and non-skid traction for a safe stepping surface. The stainless steel plates also help protect the running boards from scuffs, scratches and rust caused by frequent foot traffic. AscentStep running boards offer excellent rigidity with their high-strength steel construction. The steel is covered with a durable carbide black powder coat finish for dependable corrosion, scratch and UV resistance and for a clean, sleek look on your truck or SUV. Every set of ARIES AscentStep running boards is made for vehicle-specific application. This ensures optimal integration with the truck without any drilling or difficult modifications required. This particular set of custom running boards fits certain years of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 1500 Legacy, 2500 HD, 3500 HD or Tahoe and GMC Sierra 1500, 1500 Limited, 2500 HD, 3500 HD or Yukon (see application info to verify fitment). Additionally, AscentSteps are equipped with the VersaTrac system, meaning once the brackets are installed, they can accept other running boards or side steps with the VersaTrac system.
