This replacement driver side gas tank strap fits 78-83 CJ5, 78-86 CJ7, 81-86 CJ8 and 87-90 Wrangler YJ models with 2.5 or 4.2 liter engines. Works with steel OR polyethylene tanks. For RH strap, use 17739.05. Replaces OE 5357879
