Description
Manufactured right here in the U.S. of A., these billet aluminum beauties are CNC machined from aircraft quality 6061-T6 solid billet aluminum. The bearing main caps are then CNC machined from 7075 T6 solid billet aluminum and matched to the housings. Not only does the aluminum add considerably to the overall strength of the 3rd member but at 20-30 percent less weight than a nodular iron drop-out. Nitro extreme engineering has produced features like a load bolt for increased resistance to pinion deflection, ARB air locker ready-drilled and tapped airline hole with an optional plug to fill the hole, ARP high strength cap studs, pinion support studs and other hardware, and a compact bearing main cap design which allows fitment into any Ford 9 inch housing!
