The kit begins with a crankshaft that is based on a specialized non-twist 4340 steel forging and features gun drilled mains, lightened rod journals, micropolished journals and windage reducing Contoured Wing counterweights. Additionally, these premium cranks are pulsed plasma nitride heat treated for increased strength and durability, making them the best choice for serious racers. Finally, each kit comes with premium I-beam or H-beam rods, your choice of Diamond or Mahle brand forged pistons and premium King or Clevite engine bearings.
