G2 Axle & Gear is proud to introduce their new CORE 44 axle housing for the 2007 and up Jeep JK. Utilizing the strongest and latest generation, high pinion Dana 44 gear design, G2 has developed a whole new housing to handle the heavy loads that would normally bend the stock housing. G2 housings are engineered to be a direct replacement for the stock Dana 30 or Dana 44, and will accept stock Dana 44 ring and pinions, stock Dana 44 axle shafts, and after-market lockers. The CORE 44 is proudly made in the United States, and includes heavy duty forged inner C ends and 3" x 0.250" thick wall tubing to prevent bending. All brackets are designed around stock mounting points, and are laser cut and CNC formed from 3/8" steel for added strength. G2 has also gusseted and reinforced any weak points to prevent damage tot he brackets. The CORE 44 features a unique adjuster nut system to set back-lash and carrier bearing preload.
