The Edelbrock Victor Series #28518 is the valley plate portion of a two-piece manifold system. A key feature of the Edelbrock Victor Series #28518 plate is a cast-in water passage that simplifies plumbing by eliminating the need for external previsions. The Edelbrock Victor Series #28518 has milled slot at flange water outlets corresponding to water location on R0X heads. Other features are machined provisions for temperature gauge, temperature warning light, and cooling system pressure. The Edelbrock Victor Series #28518 is intended for use on 4.5" bore spacing R0X motors, although its specific to tall deck blocks (9.5"). This translates to an additional .500" of metal on the flanges compared to the #2851. However, by milling flanges to the appropriate thickness and adjusting water outlet. The Edelbrock Victor Series #28518 can be made to fit on all combinations of std. to tall deck blocks with R0X or SB2 heads, with a wide variety of final head deck surface cuts.
