Description
Upgrading the standard control arms to a long arm adds strength improves handling and takes offroad articulation to the next level. This upgrade consists of massive 1/4-inch steel frame mounted brackets to install the oversized upper and lower formed long arms. The arms are formed for maximum tire clearance and allow the stock control arm tabs to remain on the vehicle. The upper arms are solid stock while the heavy wall tubular lower arms utilize oversized greaseable polyurethane bushings for superior road vibration isolation.

This new system also includes weld in reinforcements at the axle for superior strength. BDS built the long lower control arms to reduce caster change through wheel travel which creates a more controlled feeling in the steering wheel. This long arm long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms which adds to the stability of the suspension system. |
